December 7, 2010 Board Meeting Agenda Item #36 Title APPROVAL OF QUIT CLAIM DEED TO THE CITY OF SARASOTA FOR THE NEW ORANGE AVENUE RIGHT OF WAY Description The construction of the rerouted Orange Avenue Phase I of the Booker High School rebuild will be completed in late December.  The dedication of the new road will be in early January at a City of Sarasota Commission meeting.  In addition, at the same meeting the City of Sarasota will be vacating the existing Orange Avenue right of way which will then become the property of the School Board of Sarasota County.  Recommendation That the School Board approve the quit claim deed to the City of Sarasota for Orange Avenue right of way.
